New Delhi, May 5 (MNN) Even as the Supreme Court was seized of the Indian government’s plea against a Delhi High Court order on oxygen supply to the national capital, the Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday said that as against a demand for 976 metric tonnes of medical oxygen, Delhi got 555 MT on May 4.
“Delhi’s oxygen bulletin for May 4: Demand: 976 MT, Supply: 555 MT. Only 57 per cent of the actual demand was supplied by Modi government,” it tweeted.
It also said that SOS from Delhi hospitals totalled and all were addressed.
“The Kejriwal government addressed 100 per cent of the SOS calls from hospitals yesterday,” the party added.
A division bench of the Delhi High Court had on May 1 and May 4 ordered the Centre to ensure Delhi got its allocated supply of 490 MT and also directed to allocate tankers so that allocated quota can be supplied.
The High Court had directed two officials to remain present in court if the directions were not complied with.
