Arrest me too, says Rahul over Delhi posters questioning PM on vaccines

New Delhi, May 16 (MNN) In the wake of registration of a number of FIRs and arrests by Delhi Police after posters were found pasted across the national capital to question Prime Minister on coronavirus vaccines sent abroad, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday dared the government to arrest him too.

“Arrest me too,” he dared in his social media post, along with the question: “Modi ji, why did you send the vaccines meant for our children to foreign countries?”

Over two dozen cases have been registered in Delhi after posters questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the government’s vaccine policy.

Police said that at least 25 persons had been arrested in connection with the cases.

Earlier in the day, he tweeted about the cyclone threatening the west coast of India.

“Cyclone Tauktae is becoming stronger. Please continue to follow all safety guidelines. Renewing my appeal to Congress workers to provide all assistance.”
