316 new corona cases in Delhi, 41 more deaths

New Delhi, June 8 (MNN) Delhi on Tuesday recorded 316 new coronavirus cases and 41 more deaths in the last 24 hours, the state government said.

Delhi’s corona death toll is 24,668 with a case fatality rate of 1.73, the daily health bulletin said.

As many as 71,879 tests were conducted in the national capital, which reported a positivity rate of 0.44.

The discharged or cured or migrated patients increased by 521 to 14,00,161.

Of the 24,208 hospital beds, 2,613 were occupied and 21,595 were vacant. In dedicated COVID Care Centres, of the total 6,332 beds, 138 were occupied and 6,182 were vacant.

The dedicated COVID Health Centres, of the total 606 beds,100 were occupied and 506 were vacant.

A total of 1,795 patients are in home isolation while 12 beds in CCCs were occupied by corona negative persons under quarantine.

The RT-PCR/CBNAAT TrueNaT tests conducted in the last 24 hours total 48,574, of which Rapid Antigen Tests account for 23, 305. Tests done in Delhi so far total 1,98,93,804, which comes to 10,47,042 tests per million.

Beneficiaries vaccinated in the last 24 hours total 66,175, of which 33,767 got the first dose and 32,408 the second dose.

Beneficiaries vaccinated so far total 57,32,699 in Delhi, including 44,14,615 given the first dose and 13,18,084 the second dose.

The cumulative positive cases in Delhi are 14,29,791, with a cumulative positivity rate of 7.19.

There are 11,094 containment zones in Delhi at present.
