212 new corona cases in Delhi, 25 more deaths

New Delhi, June 16 (MNN) Delhi on Wednesday recorded 212 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours apart from 25 more deaths, the state government said.

As per the health bulletin issued in the evening, the authorities said 77,891 more tests were conducted in the said period, with a positivity rate of 0.27.

A total of 24,876 deaths due to coronavirus have been reported in Delhi, with a case fatality rate of 1.74. There are still 2,749 active cases in the national capital.

The recovered or discharged or migrated patients increased by 516 to 14,04,085.

Delhi has so far reported 14,31,710 corona cases, with a cumulative positivity rate of 6.99.

In Delhi Hospitals, of the 23,953 beds, 1,637 were still occupied while 22,316 were vacant.

In Dedicated COVID Care Centres, there are 6,288 beds, of which 93 are occupied and 6,195 vacant.

In Dedicated COVID Health Centres, there are 627 beds, of which 26 were occupied and 601 were vacant. In all, 781 persons were in home isolation.

RT-PCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests conducted in the last 24 hours total 55,417, with Rapid Antigen Test totalling 22,474.

A total of 2,04,72,292 tests have been done so far in Delhi, which comes to 10,77,489 tests per million.

In all, 53,455 beneficiaries were vaccinated in the last 24 hours, including 28,585 given the first dose and 24,870 the second dose.

So far, 62,01,432 persons have been vaccinated in Delhi, including 47,12,743 given the first dose and 14,88,689 the second dose.

Delhi has 6,169 containment zones as of date.
