New Delhi, June 19 (MNN) The President of India has appointed six Judges to the Madhya Pradesh High Court and one Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court.
A notification was issued by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice on Friday after the President made the appointments of Anil Verma, Arun Kumar Sharma, Satyendra Kumar Singh, Sunita Yadav, Deepak Kumar Agarwal, and Rajendra Kumar (Verma) to the Madhya Pradesh High Court in exercise of the power conferred in him by Clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India.
Anil Verma is presently working as Principal Registrar, of High Court Bench at Indore since June 4, 2018.
Arun Kumar Sharma is presently working as a District and Sessions Judge at Chhatarpur since March 28, 2019.
Satyendra Kumar Singh he working as Principal Secretary, Madhya Pradesh government’s Law and Legislative Affairs Department, Bhopal since May 14, 2018.
Sunita Yadav is psoted as District and Sessions Judge at Datia since July 3, 2017.
Deepak Kumar Agarwal he is working as District and Sessions Judge at Gwalior since December 1, 2018.
Rajendra Kumar (Verma) is working as District and Sessions Judge at Bhopal since December 1, 2018.
The President has also appointed Robin Phukan as an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court for two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of office.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Department of Justice.
Robin Phukan is working as District and Sessions Judge in Jorhat from January 6, 2020.
