Bhopal, June 20 (MNN) The Madhya Pradesh government will launch a statewide coronavirus vaccination drive, with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan kick-starting it in Datia, Bhopal and Sehore districts.
Ministers will launch the ‘Mahabhiyan’ in their respective districts by administering an oath to the people for getting vaccinated, the state government said on Sunday.
In all, 7,000 vaccination centres have been set up and other arrangements made for the convenience of people coming for vaccination.
Health workers and volunteers have also been deployed at each centre, who will make people follow the corona protocols and also motivate them to get the vaccine doses.
State Minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha said members of the crisis management group and enlightened people should play an active role in the 100 per cent vaccination campaign take along people from their villages, wards, localities to the vaccination centres to get them vaccinated.
Sakhlecha said that arrangements have been made for vaccinations in villages with population of up to 500 under the Mahabhiyan.
