Delhi records 86 new corona cases, five more deaths

New Delhi, July 3 (MNN) Delhi on Saturday recorded 86 new coronavirus cases and five more deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The corona death toll in Delhi stands at 24,988, with a Case Fatality Rate of 1.74. There are still 1,016 active case in the national capital.

The recovered or discharged or migrated patients increased by 106 to 14,08,456.

Delhi as so far reported 14,34,460 positive cases, with a Cumulative Positivity Rate of 6.61.

There are 738 containment zones in Delhi.

A total of 76,619 more tests were conducted in the national capital, which recorded a Positivity Rate of 0.11.

In Delhi hospitals, 613 of the 15,067 beds are occupied while in Dedicated COVID Care Centres only 11 of the 6,288 beds are occupied.

In Dedicated COVID Health Centres only one of the 627 beds is occupied.

There are 305 persons in home isolation.

The RT-PCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests conducted in the last 24 hours total 54,103, with Rapid Antigen Tests totalling 22,516.

So far, 2,17,09,756 tests have been done in Delhi, which comes out to 11,42,618 tests per million population.

Beneficiaries vaccinated in the last 24 hours total 1,60,673, including 1,30,441 given the first dose and 30,232 the second dose.

So far, 82,18,548 persons have been vaccinated in Delhi, including 63,50,596 given the first dose and 18,67,952 the second dose.
