93 new corona cases in Delhi on July 8, three more deaths

New Delhi, July 9 (MNN) Delhi on Thursday recorded 93 news coronavirus cases and three more deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The coronavirus deaths in Delhi total 25,008, with a Case Fatality Rate of 1.74. There are still 847 active cases in the national capital.

As many as 77,979 tests were conducted during the period, with a Positivity Rate of 0.12.

The recovered or discharged or migrated patients increased by 101 to 14,09,018.

So far, 14,34,873 positive cases have been reported in Delhi, with a Cumulative Positivity Rate of 6.50.

The RT-PCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests conducted in the last 24 hours totalled 52,879, with Rapid Antigen Tests conducted totalling 25,100.

So far, 2,20,72,721 tests have been done, which comes to 11,61,722 tests per million of population.

Beneficiaries vaccinated in the last 24 hours totalled 22,350, including 11,789 given the first dose and 10,561 second dose.

So far, 85,27,040 persons have been vaccinated, including 65,60,148 given the first dose and 19,66,892 the second dose.

There are 628 containment zones in Delhi.

In Delhi hospitals, of the 14,292 beds, 484 are occupied and 13,808 vacant.

In Dedicated COVID Care Centres, only nine of the 3,871 beds are occupied.

In Dedicated COVID Health Centres only one of the 172 beds is occupied.

There are 260 persons in home isolation.
