Mumbai, July 19 (MNN) After a stunning first official trailer, the makers of ‘Bhuj – The Pride Of India’ are out with first song from the war-drama. The song is titled ‘Hanjugam’ featuring Ajay Devgn and debutante Pranitha Subhash.
The romantic track, which is super melodious, is crooned by Jubin Nautiyal and composed by Gourov Dasgupta and the lyrics are penned by Devshi Khanduri.
Actor Ajay Devgn dropped the single on his social media handle. He captioned it: “Cherish the feeling of being in love with #Hanjugam. The epic war-drama also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, and Ihana Dhillon.
Abhishek Dudhaiya’s directorial is set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971; it is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then incharge of the Bhuj airport who, with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from local village Madhapar.
Initially, the film was slated for theatrical release worldwide on August 14, 2020 during the Independence Day weekend, but the production halt affected it. Later, seeing the situation amid the pandemic and keeping in mind cinemas guidelines regarding occupancies, the makers announced that it will now stream directly on August 13, 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.
