44 new corona cases in Delhi on July 20, five more deaths

New Delhi, July 20 (MNN) Delhi recorded 44 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday and five more deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are still 569 active cases in Delhi, which reported a total of 14,35,609 cases.

There have been 25,035 deaths due to the virus so far, with a Case Fatality Rate of 1.74.

As many as 63,019 tests were conducted in the said period, with a Positivity Rate of 0.07. The Cumulative Positivity Rate is 6.26.

The recovered or discharged or migrated patients increased by 37 to 14,10,005.

Of the 12,729 beds in Delhi hospitals, 333 are occupied and 12,396 are vacant. In Dedicated COVID Care Centres, only nine of the 3,871 beds are occupied while all 177 beds in Dedicated COVID Health Centres are vacant. There are 183 persons in home isolation in Delhi.

The RT-PCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests conducted in the last 24 hours totalled 44,368, with Rapid Antigen Tests totalling 18,651.

So far, 2,29,19,132 tests have been conducted in the national capital, which comes to 12,06,270 tests per million.

The beneficiaries vaccinated in the last 24 hours totalled 25,985, including 16,704 given the first dose and 9,281 the second dose.

So far, 93,67,800 persons have been vaccinated in Delhi, including 71,42,106 given the first dose and 22,25,694 the second dose.

There are 406 containment zones in Delhi.
