Hollywood, Dec 30 (MNN) Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman has tested positive for COVID-19.

Hugh Jackman was making headlines for returning to Broadway with a musical titled ‘The Music Man’, during which he contracted the virus. Now, all the shows are cancelled.

Hugh took to the social media and dropped a video post where he is seen saying: “I just wanted you to hear from me that I tested positive this morning for Covid. My symptoms are like a cold: I have a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose, but I’m fine. And I’m just going to do everything I can to get better, A.S.A.P., and as soon as I’m cleared, I’ll be back onstage”

Hugh starred in the comedy-drama ‘Bad Education’ (2019), opposite Allison Janney. In April 2021, it was announced that Jackman and Laura Dern will star together in Florian Zeller’s adaptation of his stage play, ‘The Son’.

He recently returned to Broadway in a revival of ‘The Music Man’, playing Harold Hill.
