Mumbai, Jan 7 (GAJZAP) Voot Select’s official handle dropped a new teaser for Mahesh Bhatt’s new show ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’.

This one introduces more characters and dynamics about characters and their complex relationship.

‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ is a saga to bring out complex human emotions, based in the golden era of the Hindi film industry: The glorious 70s, starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Amala Paul and Amrita Puri.

Sharing the teaser, Voot Select captioned it: “From the lanes of Bombay and the glamour of Bollywood in the 70s, comes a dramatic love story about a struggling director, his wife, and his superstar lover. Find out what happens in #RanjishHiSahi: streaming on #VootSelect from 13th January. …”

Mahesh Bhatt has previously explored similar relationship graphs in films such as the 1982 drama ‘Arth’ and his 2006 production ‘Woh Lamhe’.

The protagonist, Shankar, essayed by Tahir, has a series of flops to his credit, ends up hiring superstar Amna Parvez, played by Amala Paul, and things get complicated.

Set to premiere on Voot Select on January 13, the show is created by Mahesh, produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Jio Studios. Pushpdeep Bhardwaj has written and directed the web series.
