Chandigarh, Jan 10 (MNN) All schools and colleges in Haryana have been closed till January 26 in view of increasing cases of coronavirus in the state.

Education Minister Kanwar Pal said that online teaching will however continue in schools and colleges during this period, for which authorities will take necessary action.

Earlier, the state government had declared winter holidays from January 3 to 12.

Meanwhile, daily on-the-spot admissions in all government and private industrial training institutes (it is) in Haryana will be done against vacant seats at the institute level till January 15, 2022.

The admissions will be done on the basis of combined merit of new and old applications received till each date and no reservation will be applicable in this.

An official spokesman said that after registering in the institute where applicants are willing to take admission, they will submit admission fee online/cash along with all original certificates and merit cards the very next day at 11 am.

The merit cards can be downloaded from website www.itiharyanaadmission.nic.in. Institute-wise number of vacant seats and other terms and conditions mentioned in the prospectus can also be seen on the admission portal.
