Congress sets up Manifesto Committee for February 14 Punjab Assembly elections

New Delhi, Jan 11 (MNN) The Congress has set up a Manifesto Committee in the run-up to the February 14 Assembly elections in Punjab.

Party General Secretary KC Venugopal said that the panel will comprise former Congress state chief and MP Pratap Singh Bajwa, Dr Amar Singh, state Finance Minister Manpreet Badal, Deputy CM OP Soni, Minister Rana Gurjeet Singh, Jaiveer Shergill, Lt Gen JS Dhaliwal (retd), Rahul Ahuja, Alex P Sunil, Surinder Kumar Dawar, Hardyal Kamboj, Sushil Kumar Rinku, Dr Jasleen Sethi, Ashok Chaudhary, Amit Vij, KK Aggarwal, Raman Subramanian, Manju Bansal, Vijay Kalra and Surjit Singh Siwaich.

State party chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, four state unit Working Presidents, CLP leader, AICC Secretaries from Punjab and heads of frontal organisations in the state are Permanent Invitees to the Manifesto Committee.
