Kingston (Jamaica), Jan 11 (MNN) The second ODI between West Indies and Ireland in Sabina Park on January 11 has been postponed, the CWI and Cricket Ireland (CI) said in a joint statement.

The Cricket West Indies (CWI) and CI statement on the CG Insurance One-Day International came after two more coronavirus positive cases were reported in Ireland camp following recent testing. Two players have been ruled out due to injury, resulting in a severely depleted Ireland squad.

The CWI and CI are in discussions to review the match schedule and working to explore all possibilities for the series to be completed.

The five members of the Ireland team who have returned positive results remain in isolation under the care and supervision of the medical teams.
